Formerly a brownfield gas station, GMC acquired, rezoned, remediated and developed this beautiful example of sustainable in-fill development. Brixton Flats features a curated collection of 56 Passive House designed rental residences, a 4,000/ft of rooftop oasis including a pet zone, communal barbecue space, garden boxes, apple trees and four distinct gathering areas for multiple groups to enjoy as with 4,500 sq.ft. of vibrant commercial space in the heart of the historic Chinatown neighbourhood.

Through its Passive House design, the building and its occupants benefit from an over 90% reduction in space heating demand, 20% less water consumption than as determined by building code, quieter living environments and better air quality through air filtration in the heat recovery ventilation system.
