Jordan Milne, President & Chief Executive Officer
Jordan is a resident of Victoria, BC with his wife of 3 years, Ashley Renee, and their sons Oliver and Bodhi. Jordan was born in Winnipeg but spent the majority of his youth in Vancouver where he participated in competitive soccer and gained an affinity towards real estate. Jordan began his career with GMC Projects in 2007 while undertaking Urban Land Economics at the University of British Columbia and currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the GMC Group of Companies. Jordan leads the GMC team through thoughtful design, innovative thinking and attention to detail. Jordan currently serves as Chair of the Board for the Urban Development Institute Capital Region.
Lorne Milne, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, US OPERATIONS
After graduating from the University of Manitoba and York University, Lorne began his career as a corporate and real estate lawyer in Winnipeg in 1976, moving to Vancouver, BC with his wife and 4 children in 1989. After running a successful law practice for 23 years, Lorne left the active practise of corporate law to co-found GMC Projects in 1999. With over 40 years of real estate and development experience, Lorne continues to be a driving force behind GMC’s success and is focused on new opportunities for GMC in Washington State and Oregon.
Tonny Kiptoo, Vice President Development
With over 10 years experience in the hospitality and project management industries, Tonny brings a hands-on approach to GMC. Tonny works directly with GMC's construction and consultant teams to ensure the project vision is achieved. Tonny is a graduate of Royal Roads University and has worked with organizations such as Soho House in London, England where he enhanced his project management and team building skills. Tonny enjoys utilizing his diverse skill set to provide technical knowledge in construction and project coordination.
David Milne, Vice President Property Management
After graduating from the University of British Columbia, David embarked on opening his own business and after over 10 years of success, David sold that business and joined GMC in 2016. A former Canadian National Champion in the mens 3000 meter steeplechase, David brings a determination and dedication to GMC’s property management operations.
Sarah macneill, creative director
Sarah graduated from Dalhousie University with a degree in architecture, and after several years working for various architectural and design firms in Vancouver and Victoria, she began freelancing as a graphic designer and photographer. In 2014, Sarah formed her own company and began working with GMC Projects that same year. She has been a trusted collaborator in a creative capacity ever since. A perfectionist by nature and a control-freak by fault, Sarah is passionate about seeing the evolution of a project through from concept to execution and relies on the belief that more minds are better than one.
Born in the prairies, and raised on Vancouver Island, she has recently returned to the east coast to build a home on Prince Edward Island with her husband and three daughters.
KIMBERLY SMITH, Administrative Assistant
Kimberly graduated from the University of Victoria with a Diploma in Business Administration. She brings a background in Banking, Real Estate Appraising and Residential Building. Her volunteer service has been as a Venture Crew Scouting Advisor, Water Safety Instructor and Swimming Official. Kimberly joined GMC Projects in 2018 to oversee the administration of the Victoria office.
MYRNA-LEA STACK, GENERAL MANAGER, HOSPITALITY
It was the lure of the ocean sailing and sunshine that drew Myrna-Lea to Victoria after spending more than twenty years in the Okanagan, where she nurtured two home-based businesses – and seven children. Her personal pledge to address every day with a sense of humour and genuine enthusiasm crosses over to her professional life and her approach to marketing, sales and customer service.
Most recently Myrna-Lea has worked within the hospitality industry. “Working with a diverse range of people has taught me a lot, most importantly: Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional!”
TONY SCOTT, PROJECT MANAGER, HOSPITALITY
A recent arrival in Victoria, BC, Tony was born in Vancouver and grew up in Ontario, attending Queen's University. With 10 years experience in corporate and governmental technology sales and training, Tony achieved several awards and designations during this time, including being selected to be the first Canadian certified by Cisco's sales expert designation. Tony has held several executive positions in the Chamber of Commerce, and is an avid hiker. Recently, Tony sold his business and moved to the Island to focus on his four young children.
Glenda Infanti, Controller
“The Rock” of GMC. Glenda has been with GMC since its inception where she began as an assistant and secretary and moved to the role of Controller & Senior Administrator for GMC in 2005. Glenda oversees all day to day financial and administration matters for the GMC Group of Companies. She is a graduate of Simon Fraser University and is based from GMC’s Vancouver office.
